Jesus allowed one of His closest friends, Lazarus, to fall ill and die when He surely could have healed Him without lifting a finger. Although it looked bad to all involved (especially Lazarus) Jesus had divine insight. He had a purpose and He had a plan. So, does God allow us to suffer just to let us suffer?
