Kathleen Prasad has been pioneering the field of Animal Reiki for over 22 years. She believes dogs are the ones that have the PhD in healing their own bodies and how adding in reiki can allow the dog to choose and lead their own way to healing.  All animals are healers and teachers so why not they lead their own way to healing.

I love this podcast because it helps listeners understand what the difference is between reiki for humans vs reiki for animals. I love when Kathleen talks about what it means to be Reiki and different ways to offer reiki to your animals.  Pus, how offering too much reiki for animals can feel demanding and overwhelming for them. Rather we can learn to see the perfection in the animal and not judging them for what's wrong with them while offering the love, light, peace through reiki. It's so important to accept our animals where they are on their own healing process.

Reiki is a great place to explore alternative healing modalities for dog trainers and to expand upon your animal communication skills. There's a great chat on how reiki can enhance a dog trainer or animal communicator's skill set in the podcast you won't want to miss.

Kara Udziela is an animal communicator, energy alchemist, medical intuitive, and spiritual teacher with over a decade of experience in transforming the lives of thousands of companion animals whose animal guardians carry struggles such as: anxiety, aggression, chronic illness, or the midwifing of death.

I love how Kara shares with us how she helps dog trainers expand their tool box through partnering up with her so she can support the client and dog through animal communication and healing modalities life EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or through teaching them healing modalities and animal communication to directly help their own clients.  What an incredible world this would be if dog trainers added these tools to their tool box!

Today on the Divine Feminine Dog Trainer Podcast I interview one of my favorite dog people on the planet, Emma Best. Emma Best is a dog trainer in Salisbury, Vermont and Owner of Mountain Ridge Dog Pack a dog camp servicing Middlebury, VT and surrounding areas.  Emma has been an integral part of my businesses helping to edit all my online courses. She's a wealth of information on dogs and building businesses at a young age of 25!

Emma talks about leaving her stable cushy job in accounting after graduating from college to become an entrepreneur in the dog field. She talks about how important the Happy Rescue Dogs and My Dog Camp course was for her to start her career in the dog field.

We also talk about what it's like coming out to dog camp and seeing one in action for the first time, what it was like taking her reactive dog out to dog camp (and how her dog is flourishing now!), how her dog camp exploded when she started it and how she's expanded to helping puppies and dogs that are not ready for dog camp through a day school program. On this episode of the Divine Feminine Dog Trainer Podcast Rhonda interviews Karen Thomas of Paytons Promise Sanctuary in the Florida Keys. Karen is an animal communicator, natural healer and registered nurse for over 25 years. 

Karen offers solutions to health issues, behavior issues, stress, anxiety, and end of life transitions for dogs. She treats these dogs with various energy healing modalities. Karen is passionate about helping to heal animals in shelters, sanctuaries, and rescue organizations.​ 

In this episode we talk about how powerful animal communication is to help dogs during difficult transitions like going to the vet, being re-homed, coming out of the shelter, going into the shelter and crossing over the rainbow bridge amongst many other transitions. Karen talks about what these conversations and transitions can look like and how to honor the dog and their experience through these transitions. 

Karen shares how she loves giving newly surrendered dogs baths at the shelter because it offers her a chance to talk to the animal, get her hands on them to offer love and support, explain how their soul contract was up, encourage them to move forward onto this next adventure and explain to them they've done a good job. Karen does reiki with the animals during this grooming as well as uses essential oil, pressure point work, and sound healing to help aid in the dog's healing process. Karen also has brought dogs on their 'best day ever' before their euthanasia and her stories are sure to make you rethink euthanasia at the shelter.

We talk about how everyone has this intuitive gift of communicating with animals and what that may look like for each person. How important trusting in the process is when practicing animal communication and even tips for communicating with your animals.

She graduated from Communication with all Life University, where she fine-tuned her skills in animal communication and energy medicine.
