Are you making mistakes or are you just doing it the hard way so you really learn what you need to learn? Having the courage to take action is what Becoming a Lion is all about. The word mistake is often misused, in my opinion. There is no such thing a wrong action taken or a wrong life path traveled. Life doesn't happen to you, it happens for you. Everything is for your pruning and growth. If you have the courage to make a choice, then life will serve you up whatever you need. 

It I hadn't been courageous enough to travel the world, often on my own, I wouldn't have such a zest for adventure. Perhaps I would have a lot of fear of leaving my home. 

If I hadn't moved out as a high school student, living in my own apartment and supporting myself, perhaps I wouldn't be so courageous. It was a gift. 

You are becoming a lion, and lions don't make "mistakes".
