In this episode, I talk to Anita Neuman about the life-changing decision she and her husband Pat made to leave their life in Southern Ontario and move to Ethiopia as missionaries for two years. They took advantage of God's resources to serve Him and His people and adopted two young boys from Ethiopia. Anita shares how they had to adjust to a new language, culture, and climate while facing the tough reality of their son Teddy's trauma and violence. We also discuss how Anita and Pat have developed a unique marriage retreat that includes challenges, puzzles, and games that teach couples strategies to build a stronger marriage. Lastly, Anita shares the importance of using the unique gifts God has given each of us to bring Him glory and serve others.
