James begins his "How To" manual for the life we've been created to live with what appears to be some insanity. However, when we study what James is saying we find that a life of transcendent happiness beyond care, labor, and death (the "blessed" life...the "Makarios" life) is possible only when we learn to tenaciously stand and face all the difficult things life throws at us. God promises to NEVER leave us or forsake us...so we can stand tenacious KNOWING He is right by our side.
