In this hard hitting episode on life and death, explaining what caused the extended pause in the release of the season three premiere, Lisa and Derek tackle, or rather wrestle with, the topic of abortion and the current political climate that has the Supreme Court of America poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.  The determination is ultimately until ethically proven statistically, abortion should come down to personal choice.  There is currently no metric for deciding whether an abortion is detrimental to society or beneficial and until such a time as the statistics can prove that is detrimental, it should be left to the individual who is pregnant to determine what is best for their body.  This is a longer one, so buckle up and weigh in on social media.  We'd love to know your feelings and opinions on this topic.

In this week's episode, Derek and Lisa talk about the pitfalls of resolutions and what those pitfalls mean to Christians.  Are goals being used as tools or metrics for success (or failure)?  Ultimately, the conclusion is drawn in typical Dokter Knows Best fashion where love of God, love of self, and love for others is the true goal and if a resolution doesn't fall into those categories, then it's probably not good for you.  But listen in and make your own determination.

This week, Derek and Lisa tackle the difficult topic of denominational tribalism.  It is that "hot button" issue that basically means that two different beliefs within the same denomination/religion are at odds with each other that creates a rift.  These rifts do great damage within a church and within a person.  Derek and Lisa will talk about this at a corporate level and a personal level.  Ultimately, Lisa sides with the "run it through the filter of love" thought process, while Derek lands in the "Imma sin boldly to help others" side of things.  Listen in to perhaps learn and hear how Dokter Knows Best navigates this touchy topic.
