The Country Music Awards were held in Nashville, Tennessee this past week and the live performances were breathtaking as usual. Lady Antebellum performed their hit song, "What if I Never Get Over You" with Halsey and as Melinda Doolittle tweeted, the harmonies were on point. Amanda Mull, a writer for The Atlantic, tweeted about the mind blowing fact that Dolly Parton wrote two of the greatest songs of all time in one night; simply inspired by a new fireplace. Joined in episode 007 by Laura Beth Carlson the piano playing daughter of a music minister, we chatted music, church, a dash of politics and we tried to be respectful of each other's very different taste in college football teams.
