I was raised by women who did it all. Wife. Mother. Caretaker. Hustler. They gave everything—no rest, no complaints—because that’s what love looked like. That’s what survival demanded. And I learned from them. I learned how to be strong, how to endure, how to carry it all. But nobody taught me how to put it down.
In this episode, I’m unpacking the lessons they passed down—the ones I keep and the ones I had to unlearn. Because survival ain’t the goal. Struggle ain’t a love language. And strength? It’s more than just enduring pain.
If I could sit across from them today, I’d tell them: You deserved more. And so do I.
What did the women in your life pass down? And what are you ready to let go of?
💛 Let’s get into it.
