He usually teaches aspects of that class along with ethics and applied ethics. He focuses on issues of consent, different ways people have relationships and intimacy, and what it means to have various attractions (or none).

Cate Osborn (she/they), known online as Catieosaurus, is a certified sex educator, intimacy coach, and mental health advocate known for candid conversations about living with ADHD, depression, and chronic pain. After earning two Masters degrees in Shakespeare from Mary Baldwin University, she performed at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center, American Shakespeare Center, and Great River Shakespeare Festival, and worked as a teaching artist at schools and universities across the country. She then served as Entertainment Director at the Georgia Renaissance Festival before transitioning to content creation during the pandemic, where she gained nearly 2 million followers in under a year.

A Twitch Partner and Playboy contributor, she hosts the popular podcast Sorry I Missed This on the Understood.Org network, which explores ADHD,s impact on relationships, intimacy, and communication. She also co-hosts Catie and Erik’s Infinite Quest with Erik Gude, a top-50 mental health podcast. Her educational work focuses on ADHD advocacy, disability awareness, and neurodivergent relationships, with particular expertise in making sex education and the kink community more accessible for disabled and neurodivergent people.

As a professional streamer and TTRPG influencer, Cate is passionate about bringing conversations about neurodiversity and accessibility into gaming spaces. She’s an avid Dungeons & Dragons player and advocates for inclusive design in tabletop gaming.

In early 2021, she participated in Ships of the Northern Fleet, a viral collaborative improv project where TikTokers created an entire fandom around a nonexistent steampunk sky pirate TV show. Playing bisexual lead character Annie Wreyburn, Cate helped create internet culture magic that garnered New York Times coverage and spawned wikis, fan art, and genuine community.

Her advocacy and education work has appeared in The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Time Magazine, GQ, VICE, Medium, Mashable, Bustle, and InStyle. She’s been featured on The Today Show, The Doctors (CBS), the American Sex Podcast with Sunny Megatron, and The Mental Illness Happy Hour with Paul Gilmartin.

Cate is a regular speaker at major conventions including DragonCon, GenCon, ECCC, PAX Unplugged, and MomoCon, where she hosts panels on inclusivity, accessibility, and neurodivergence at the gaming table. Her debut book will be released by Simon & Schuster in March 2026, and she’ll be embarking on a national comedy tour in 2026.

Dr. Dulcinea Pitagora is a NY-based psychotherapist and sex therapist (also licensed in NJ, PA, and CO). They have a brick-and-mortar private practice in NYC that includes individual, couples/multi-partner relationship, and poly/leather family therapy, as well as supervision and mentorship. Dr. Pitagora is an out and proud member of the queer, trans, kink, and polyamory communities, and is equally proud to be a former sex worker, as well as an anti-racist/anti-oppression/anti-exploitation activist. Dr. Pitagora holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from the New School for Social Research; a Master of Social Work from New York University; a Master of Education and a Doctorate in Clinical Sexology from Widener University; and is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, CST Supervisor, and CE provider along with their colleague Dr. Jillien Kahn. Dr. Pitagora teaches sexual health at New York University; has published articles and chapters in peer-reviewed journals and books; and presented at conferences on the topics of alternative sexuality and gender diversity. Candace “Coach Felyne” Liger (she/they)

Originally from Mississippi, Candace is a NASM-certified fitness coach, BDSM/KINK coach, consent and harm reduction educator, and founder of the Center for Body Autonomy. With over 20 years of experience in kink and BDSM communities, and a background rooted in social justice and wellness, their work centers pleasure, inclusion, and liberation—supporting all bodies to thrive.

As a BDSM/KINK coach, Candace has facilitated workshops nationwide, including Felyne Fetish Fitness, which blends exercise with power dynamics, spoken word, and radical consent. They have also been featured as a TEDx Speaker and presented at events such as Boston Trauma Conference (MA), Sex Down South Conference (ATL), Woodhull Freedom Foundations, and Whoreible Decisions (TX). A graduate of the National Organization of Victim Advocates’ Academy, they have organized national campaigns examining the impacts of racial and gender-based oppression, sexual violence, and mass incarceration.

Their most recent campaign, #ConsentConscious, calls for comprehensive, trauma-informed consent education to strengthen both wellness and pleasure practices. Dr. Roy F. Baumeister is professor of psychology associated with the University of Queensland (Australia), Florida State University (USA), and Constructor University (Germany). He grew up in Cleveland, the oldest child of a schoolteacher and an immigrant businessman. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from Princeton in 1978 and did a postdoctoral fellowship in sociology at the University of California at Berkeley. He spent over two decades at Case Western Reserve University, where he eventually was the first to hold the Elsie Smith professorship. He has also worked at Harvard University, the University of Texas, the University of Virginia, the Max-Planck-Institute, the VU Free University of Amsterdam, the University of California at Santa Barbara, the University of Bamberg, the Russell Sage Foundation, and Stanford’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.

Baumeister’s research spans multiple topics, including self and identity, self-regulation, interpersonal rejection and the need to belong, sexuality and gender, aggression, self-esteem, meaning, and self-presentation. He has received research grants from the National Institutes of Health and from the Templeton Foundation. He has over 750 publications, and his 49 books include Evil: Inside Human Violence and Cruelty, The Cultural Animal, Meanings of Life, and the New York Times bestseller Willpower: Rediscovering the Greatest Human Strength. The Institute for Scientific Information lists him among the handful of most cited (most influential) psychologists in the world, and Google Scholar indicates that his work has been cited over 300,000 times in the scientific literature, with over 60 of his publications having been cited a thousand times each. Joshua is a facilitator, educator, and advocate empowering individuals through self-discovery and intentional relationships. With 15+ years of experience, he guides people—especially men—in navigating modern masculinity, sexuality, and personal growth.  As co-founder of the Kink Collective with his partner Cat, he designs programming that fosters confidence and authentic connection. In 2025, their work with partner Mistress Natalie earned them the Northeast Power Exchange Educational Title, honoring their innovative use of power dynamics for empowerment.  Based in East Harlem, Joshua curates transformative experiences at The Sanctuary, a community space in his childhood neighborhood dedicated to identity, relationships, and conscious evolution. Their philosophy, “People Before Kink” drives his mission: equipping individuals with the tools to build self-authored, fulfilling lives.
