Everything comes to a head in chapter 4 when Nebuchadnezzar finally breaks! He finally not only acknowledges God’s dominion over everybody and everything but also submits to Him. This deeply immoral, pagan, idolatrous arrogant King finally repents and believes in God! It was such a substantial event that what we are getting ready to read is the personal testimony of Nebuchadnezzar in his own words.
