Ep.3:
Have you ever experienced Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) after a workout? That pain that makes it difficult to move your body without wincing? It's not a pleasant feeling, but it's a reminder that you've pushed yourself to become stronger.
In 1 Peter 4:15-16, it says, "If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name." This scripture reminds us that as we go through pain and suffering, we should not feel ashamed. Instead, we should praise God for the strength and resilience we possess.
Similarly, when we experience DOMS, we can remember that the pain we feel is a sign of growth. Our muscles are repairing and growing stronger, and the pain is just a temporary feeling of discomfort on the path to progress. In the same way, when we face painful situations in life, we can hold onto the hope that we will recover from the pain and come out the other side stronger and wiser than before.
So, my friend, if you're feeling the soreness of DOMS today, remember that it's a sign of growth and progress. And if you're going through a painful situation in your life, remember that you have the strength to overcome it and come out even stronger on the other side.
