Host Keith Porter interviews Don Rivenes, a retired data systems executive who, along with is wife Barbara, plays a  leading role in organizations and initiatives to protect the community from environmental degradation. Don's been an active opponent of the proposal to reopen the Idaho Maryland mine in Grass Valley, and has initiated, worked with and supported a variety of organizations including the Yuba Watershed Council, Sierra Footholls Audubon Society and Nevada County Climate Action Now.
