The first experience with hypnotism didn't make much sense for Don Spencer; he was playing with a girlfriend who used to be hypnotized by her father, and what he experienced didn't impress him at all. Several years later, in his third year of undergraduate Psychology, Don attended a public demonstration when it hit him: psychology studies human behavior; hypnotherapy is about altering, changing, and amending behavior. From that day, never stopped researching and learning about hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
Don Spencer is a Personal Achievement Coach; he developed the Hypnotism Training Institute of Idaho, the Hypnotism Training International in Utah, and the Personal Achievement Center for private consultations. He is the CEO of SleepNow Productions; SleepNow provides hypnosis services, entertainment, wellness programs, and mentoring to the private and corporate sectors.
As a hypnotherapist, Don worked with Charles Tebetts, Ormand McGill, Jim Russell, Al Krasner, and Gil Boyne, to mention some of them. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, he managed 4 highly successful offices, 2 hypnotherapy schools and hypnotized over a million people. Don is considered one of the most outstanding performers in his profession; he has appeared on MTV Asia, Studio 23, FOX, PlayboyTV, Virgin Radio, Voice of the Caribbean, NBC, ABC, and CBS.
In this episode, we had a fantastic conversation about Don's incredible journey, the most influential masters and mentors he worked with, what he loves about hypnosis, and what he wishes he had done differently.
