Donald Trump will be sworn in for his second term as US president on Monday 20th January 2025.

The ceremony, traditionally held outside the US Capitol in Washington DC, has been moved indoors due to a forecast of frigid temperature, reaching -13C.

Following the oath of office, Trump will address the nation before he is expected to parade across town to the White House and attend three inaugural balls in the evening.
