The Donegal Thatching School is hoping to prevent thatched roofs dying out across Ireland.
It’s feared that there are only 10 master thatchers left in the country, and now is the time to pass on the art to the next generation.
The school opened in October of last year, and Donegal County Council has this week launched their Thatch Repair Grant Scheme.
