A while back, we had a misunderstanding over similar sounding words: hide, head, hiding, heading. Can you tell the difference?

I'm heading to you, I'm heading your way = 我正朝著你的方向走

I'm hiding = 我在藏, 我在躲

Heading vs hiding, 這裡的元音不同!

Today, we zoom in on "HMU", Hit me up! 

  • Hit me up, 縮寫 "HMU" = 「聯絡我」
  • Hit me up on social = 在社交平台上找我
  • similar to "stay in touch" or "keep in touch", but more like, "get in touch!"
  • [HMU + time]
    • Hit me up when you get here = 你到了聯絡我
    Hit me up whenever = 隨時聯絡我
    Hit me up on Monday = 星期一聯絡我
    Hit me up next week = 下週聯絡我
    Hit me up when you're back = 你回來的時候傳個訊息給我
  • [HMU + if ___ ] = 如果 ____, 請聯絡我
    • Hit me up if you're interested = 有興趣的話請聯絡我
    Hit me up if you change your mind = 如果改變心意的話再跟我說
  • OR, [HMU + for ____ ]
    • he/she hit me up for ____ $ =  he/she asked me for money. to ask someone for something 向（某人）索要
    he/she hit me up for 20 bucks. =  她向我要20美元。
    he/she hit me up for a loan. = 她向我借錢。
  • Clear things up= 把事情弄清楚, 消除誤解, 把事情說清楚。
