In this episode, I welcome the brilliant Donna Maria Silver — a performer whose love of music began at just three years old, dancing along to Top of the Pops on her dad’s knees. As a teenager she found her voice singing in the garden with her Walkman, later going on to study Performing Arts in Oxford.

Donna has auditioned for The X Factor twice, reaching Boot Camp on her first attempt, and now brings her passion for music to open mic nights and karaoke sessions across the region. A champion of original music, she first discovered Talk in Code at the Oxford Foodies Festival and has followed their sound ever since.

Alongside her partner Jess, Donna also runs a music promotion venture supporting artists and celebrating creativity — a perfect fit for a show dedicated to keeping the music alive.
