Donna S. Pearson, CSP – President & CEO of Pearson Safety Services, LLC
Donna’s safety career sparked in 1987 with a mechanical contractor in northwest Tennessee, which quickly excelled as she served in various safety and management roles within other organizations including; Loss Control Specialist, Safety Consultant, and Vice-President of Safety. Donna seized the opportunity to move to Southwest Tennessee and start her own consulting service business, which specialized in the development and implementation of safety programs for construction contractors. Donna’s vision for safety culture instead of safety program separates her from competitors as she created and trademarked two programs: Safety Orientation System (S.O.S.) and Safety Training and Testing (S.T.A.T). These programs cover the basic OSHA requirements for new hire and annual training for employees and contractors in all industries.
Donna is a charter member of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Safety Network. She is also a member of ASSE, WBENC (Certified Women’s Owned Business Enterprise), Chamber of Commerce member in all branch locations, and a member of the Murray Business Women’s Club. She is a former executive board member of the American Heart Association and a past President of the Golden Circle Chapter of American Society of Safety Engineers in Jackson, TN. Donna is a contributing author for the 2015 publication by the American Society of Safety Engineers entitled “Consultants Business Development Guide”. She has also had an article on “Safety Culture Vs. Safety Program” published in numerous safety council magazines and other training literature. Her knowledge and expertise are always the basis of invitations as a popular guest speaker at various professional events.
Donna S. Pearson has successfully led Pearson Safety Service into celebrating 10 years of Professional Excellence with the passion to give the client a quality service with a sincere desire to make a difference.
