Many of us will take limited data and assume we know the truth without taking the time to actually verify if what we assume is the truth. This is a mistake because, although sometimes our assumptions may be correct, there are times when our assumptions are not correct. Despite all that we feel we know about a person or a situation, it is best to dig deeper, to ask questions, to open a dialogue, and then when we know, as best we can, what is the truth, then we take action. This avoids impulsive, reckless behaviors that can have negative, undesirable consequences.
