Talk about a life story! This weeks guest was Darrell Choat. I thought I knew what to expect when we started recording this episode....boy was I wrong! I learned a lot....up to the last minute when I found out what the harmonica song I picked this week is actually about-which completely blew my mind-make sure you listen to the last second! 

It's hard to even summarize the content of this episode......farming, almost losing the farm, trying to get a PHD, dropping out of college, becoming homeless, joining the Marine Corps, working for the president, and all the while trying to run from the secret of being gay in the "don't ask, don't tell" era.
