"The best investment you can make is to invest in yourself - The more you learn, the more you'll earn". - Warren Buffet
Aesop’s Fable: "The Ant and the Grasshopper" One summer day, a grasshopper was hopping and chirping and singing as loud as he could and ant drudged by dragging a kernel of corn to the nest. “Why not come and play with me” said the grasshopper, “instead of toiling and struggling like that, I am having lots of fun.” “I am gathering and storing food for the winter” said the ant, “and I recommend you do the same.” “Why bother about winter” said the grasshopper, “we have plenty of food now.” But the ant went on its way and continued its hard work. When the winter came, the grasshopper had no food and was dying of hunger while it saw the ants distributing every day the corn and grain from stores that they had collected all summer. Then the grasshopper knew the importance of preparing for the future.
This story brings an important lesson with it!
The choices we make and the action we take today dictate what our future is going to be.
We can either choose an easy life today and face a tougher life later, like the Grasshopper, or we can learn from the Ants, and work our ass off today, invest in ourselves, and build a better future.
I personally chose to behave like the Ants!
