Lisa continues to speak with business owners who have escaped corporate and this week speaks with Rachel Barham who is a self-employed Membership Adviser for the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).

Becoming self-employed but working for a larger company, or in this case, non-profit organisation, is another way that you can escape corporate to work for yourself.

We learn how Rachel happened upon this job and has fallen in love with the work and the flexibility it gives her.

She gives some great advice for anyone starting out on their own – don’t be afraid to say NO.
