1 Corinthians 9 ends with the apostle Paul reminding us that discipline and obedience lead to blessings. This is a common theme, but Paul says he does not want to be “disqualified” for the prize. Paul is not talking about salvation here, he is discussing the wonderful plans God has for His children in this life. They are accompanied by difficulties sometimes, but they are promised none the less. What do we do that steals our blessing? What actions and attitudes disqualify us from God’s prize?
