In an incredible text from Deuteronomy, God’s people are commanded to face their enemies without fear or dread, because God fights for them. When their enemy outnumbers them, they are not to scramble for reinforcements, but are actually supposed to shrink their army down even more until only the courageous men remain. The principles regarding spiritual warfare for the Church could not be more timely. God’s word to His people has not changed…don’t be fainthearted.
