Matthew 27:1-66
In Matthew chapter 27, it is difficult for believers to read how our Lord died a horrific death. However, one thing to understand is that Jesus willingly gave up His life. His life was not taken from Him; He chose to let the will of the Father be fulfilled.
Jesus was crucified mainly because of jealousy. The chief priests, Pharisees, and elders were unable to perform the miracles that Jesus could. He was God in human form, yet He was humble, choosing to spend time with sinners instead of the religious leaders.
Today, we should not be envious of other believers' ministries. Instead, we should support and encourage each other if they are following God's word. Let's avoid jealousy and strive to support one another.
