Comparison is the thief of joy, an old saying with a lot of truth. It means constantly comparing ourselves or our circumstances to others can lead to unhappiness and dissatisfaction, causing us not to appreciate the qualities that we ourselves have.
I see this a lot when coaching introverted women leaders, they compare themselves to others and put themselves down in the process. This brings on self-doubt and a lack of self-confidence. And it is stressful.
In this episode, I talk about this and what you should do instead.
