There are no shortcuts to success. Whenever we look at a multi-million-dollar company or brand, we assume that luck had a big role to play along with ‘some’ work along the way. Many theorists allege that these successful people and businesses were in the right place at the right time. That is why everything worked out for them. And if there’s no success in your endeavor, then it’s just bad luck.
But luck, in fact, is superficial, and an excuse to not be able to perform. There is absolutely no substitute for hard work. Yes, products need to be at the right spot and at the right time. But luck will not do that work – great market research will – along with planning and implementation. The marketing department of a company actually needs to sit down, draft and think about how to position their brand and reach out to the customers.
A lot of research goes into understanding customer needs and establishing engagement. It’s quite obvious. No product enters the market with sufficient research, promotion, and strategy. It’s not luck, my friends! It's just good marketing. This is Priya signing off, until next time. Bye!
