When people say “don’t,” sometimes their warnings are wrong or just ridiculous. But when God says “don’t,” it’s for our protection and we’d be wise to pay attention. Even, or maybe especially, when it comes to our sexuality. In this episode, Mary Ann and Luanne discuss the lying voices that try to lure teenagers (and all of us) into misusing one of God’s most precious gifts. God offers forgiveness and redemption when we fall, but isn’t it better to just do things His way? (Hint: The answer is YES!)

Parents and teens, check out Luanne’s two books—one for gals and one for guys—about Biblical sexuality, drawing from her 17 years’ experience as a high school teacher and counselor. Those books, “Pure Lives” and “The Warrior Within,” are available on her website (address below) and on amazon.com.

Luanne’s new book, “Spiritual Warfare and the Armor of God,” is also available for order through her website and on amazon.com, as is Mary Ann’s book, “Live. Learn. Laugh!”

You can learn more about Luanne and Mary Ann, order the books they’ve written, and read Mary Ann’s newspaper columns on their websites: www.luannebotta.com and www.maryanncrum.com . Also check out their podcast Facebook page: “Unquenchable Hope.” You can contact the ladies at [email protected] and [email protected] .

Luanne and two friends are hosting “Cry For Freedom Women’s Conference” on Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Infinity Church, 412 Fairview St. Extension in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The cost is $25, payable at the door, but you need to register in advance by emailing [email protected] (include your name, cell phone number and number of women you’re registering).
