We’re recording early again this week, because Mike is taking another trip up north with his husband (or should I say his sister’s husband) who also just so happens to be his fishing buddy. We started the show talking about Independence Day and some of the freedoms we are most grateful for, as Americans. We used this as a transition into a conversation about an Activist Athlete who refused to face the American flag during the National Anthem, as America celebrated her 3rd place finish in the hammer throw Olympic qualifiers. Gwen Berry will now be sent by America, as an ambassador of America, and will be given the freedom to ridicule the United States and its anthem, on the world stage. We closed the show out by throwing Biblical darts Theologies encouraging people to “Follow Their Hearts” while explaining why many of the top-selling Personal Growth and Christianity books aimed at defining and describing Christian Living for woman, fall flat when compared to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
