I think all Christians will acknowledge that professing our faith to all the world is what we should be doing. We live out our walk with Christ in all the ways we interact with people and through these interactions our goal is to bring those we are talking to into a relationship with Christ. We are overjoyed when we hear of someone putting their hope and trust in our Savior. But what happens after this person makes their commitment to Christ? This is where true discipleship begins. It is not enough to simply have the altar calls and baptisms. Our work as disciples makers begins once a person has accepted Christ. 

28 We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. 29 I labor for this, striving with his strength that works powerfully in me. Colossians 1:28-29
