Life is busy and there are lots of things trying to get our attention. It is easy to get distracted, but it is also easy to simply start thinking that we are here for our own pleasure and benefit. We forget that we are here to take care of each other and we are here to fight for the lost. When we start living like that, we end up doing huge amounts of damage to others and to ourselves. Actually, when we start living like that, we can end up in a worse situation than the lost.

When you stop fighting for the lost, you get lost.
