This was the hardest song I have ever had to write. You have been gone for over 13 years, and it took all that time for me to come up with the words as I wanted them to be natural , and from the heart. You made me everything that I am. No, you were not perfect but you showed me you don’t have to be if you lead with love. There a lot of people that can relate to these struggles and I truly believe that is what is missing from our genre lately, and what music is truly for. You always told me I had a talent and would use it to help others. However, I never knew it would be a subject like this that if one is blessed , we all will experience. Thank you for giving me a voice and watching over your baby boy. Love you Mom, rest easy until we see each there again, and we will.
