Our plans to acquire wealth look silly to God. They always have, and they always will. What we should be rushing to acquire is wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and His character. That is the only wealth that will be worth something one thousand years from now.

Too many kids are left with a portfolio and no presence. A portfolio without the presence of God advising you on how to steward those possessions properly is more of a curse than a blessing.
