Every little girl needs to know she can be her own hero and in this children's book, the main character Aaliyah is a great example of determination and ingenuity.  The book is the brainchild of business woman, Flora Ekpe-Idang who had a passion to write stories for little girls of color and even begin a line of multi-cultural dolls based on the characters she writes about.
