We live with increasing independence and isolation. Technology gives a grand illusion of connection, but we have never been more disconnected or lonely. Hebrews reminds us to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” When you’ve been let down and left rejected too many times to count, it is tempting to put up a wall and walk away; but God has made us for each other…Don’t Give Up.
