Don’t Give Up: God is Listening | Luke 18:1-8

Listen Later

This Sunday, we have the privilege of hearing from Ben Woolbright!

He will walk us through another parable on prayer.

Have you ever felt like your prayers fell on deaf ears?

Almost like God is out there, but He's too busy to hear what is weighing heavily on your heart?

Maybe you felt like your prayers are too insignificant in consideration to everything He has going on?

It could be that your heartfelt cries were met with silence, and now you're wondering if God is near, if He cares, or if something is wrong with your request. Luke 18:1-8 is just for you. This Sunday, we will examine the story of a persistent widow who repeatedly approaches an unrighteous judge, seeking some response to her desperate plea. Jesus uses this story to communicate who God is and how He views the prayers of believers. In this passage, we will see how gospel realities fuel our prayers so that we will always be praying and never lose heart, regardless of His answers.
