Leon kicks off a new series, “A Prophetic People”, with a sermon called “Don’t Grow Silent”. Leon unpacks Elijah’s story, to ultimately reflect on his response to threats from Jezebel (1 Kings 19). Her intimidation caused him to shrink back, and isolate, and eventually pass on his mantle to another. It took a new generation, lead by Elisha, to end the reign of Jezebel (2 Kings 9). We pray this message encourages you to shine your light, and take responsibility to advance the kingdom - don’t allow the enemy to intimidate or isolate you - steward your confession, and let the word of the Lord have its place on the earth through your prophetic contribution!
