Sometimes it takes a long time to see the benefits of living out God’s design for your life. You can grow weary in doing what God wants for you, seeing others around you propel themselves into the life they want while not caring about what anyone else thinks, and here you are growing weary trying to do what’s right.

But remember the reality behind what you see: God rescued you from a life of self-serving, never-satisfying, day-to-day grinding cycles. Those things leave us empty, and our lives are wasted on them. Don’t fall into the trap of making excuses for going back to your old ways, just because you’re tired of doing good. God promises us that we will reap a harvest if we do not give up, and God sees what we cannot see. He knows what others waste their life on and what we strive for in order to serve him!
