Let us pray that we gladly hear the words of Christ.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming from God and reconciling us to him. Teach us
to stop, to focus, to listen to your words, and to treasure them more than anything
else. For you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and
