It’s okay to indulge every now and then, but be careful!
You don’t want to get to a point where it consumes you.
There should never be anything that has that much control over you.
And it can be almost anything, food, drugs, alcohol, smoking … the list goes on.
If we let these things get out of control, it’s never a good thing.
There are consequences as a result of overdoing it.
Sometimes we overindulge to numb the pain of something, or a way of dealing with stress or other emotions.
In these cases, that could make the situation even more complicated.
And sometimes we need to seek professional help in those cases.
If this describes what you may be experiencing, I have some suggestions for you.
It’s very important that we take care of ourselves. We are not just one level, we have our physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs. Emotional and stressful situations can and will effect our whole being.
