Have you ever fasted for 40 days? In a weakened state you can only overcome trials with the Fathers help. After Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness He was definitley hungry and that is when the accuser attacked. He didn't compromise but followed the Word of God using it to resist. We often want the "easy" way out but if we take captive our thoughts we will find a new destination. Let the Holy Spirit guide you, take up the sword of truth and conqure the enemy!
