è Review: Joy is a Spiritual Force, manifesting by the Holy Spirit in the believer. It is not just an emotion. It grants strength, energy, perseverance!

• Condemnation, culture, conflict and contention steal our experiences of Joy.

• Hurt, forgiveness, continuation of relationships.

è Joy: The Presence and Witness of the Spirit

• Bearing witness of your connection to the Father: “child, heir of God and joint heir of Christ (Romans 8:16, 17)

• Bearing witness of the all-conquering Love of God. (Romans 8:37-39; Romans 5:5)

• Bearing witness of your present and eternal victory … “He always leads us to triumph”! (2 Corinthians 2:14)

• God-given anticipation arising from Spirit of God through faith. (Romans 15:13)

• True Joy is connected to Hope and peace.

è Rejoice: To connect with internal joy (Philippians 4:4-7)

• Expressing Thanksgiving and praise (prayer, songs, Scripture confession) as a lifestyle! (Psalm 28:7)
