Most people make excuses not to do stuff because other people said so. It's your life, you can do what you want, and tell them their opinions are noted and to have a nice day! They are not you, you are you and you get to make the decisions, NOT them! Take care of yourself, educate, and go for it!!! Don't wait for someone to tell you to go for it, only you tell yourself that!!!!
