We are much like a diamond in the rough. The master will chip away, shape and polish it. They don’t do this to destroy it but to make it more beautiful and add value.

Surface repentance is not enough. We need to get broken down so that God can bring real restoration.

If God kept a record of our sins, who could ever survive?

Do we ever look to other things for our help rather than looking to God?
