It’s easy to think we’re walking in God’s will while ignoring the wisdom and correction He places right in front of us. We can be so focused on our own understanding or righteousness that we miss the people God sends to guide us back to His truth. Pride tells us, "God will show me," but humility listens to wise counsel and acknowledges when we’re off course. When someone lovingly corrects you with Scripture, pause and reflect—don’t shun the rebuke. God uses others to sharpen us, just as iron sharpens iron. True maturity isn’t being wise in our own eyes; it’s being willing to learn, grow, and align ourselves with His Word.
