With the current state of unemployment in the pandemic, work rules have been waived. But this will not last forever. Even in times of unemployment, pre-pandemic people would procrastinate on changing their circumstances like finding a job. Motivation is fleeting, it is impossible to always wake up on the inspired side of the bed. More often than not we lack the zeal to accomplish our set tasks. We look inside and around ourselves for a nudge, a bit of a push to keep at it and continue being productive. Inspiration is rare, when you find it, it propels you with ease but it is not always there thus the need to have a more reliable and consistent fuel and push-factor to achieve your goals. Procrastination is likely to get worse when you're unemployed since you have a lot more free time and you're more likely to be worried and stressed about the future. However, it's important to understand that this isn't a permanent state. You have options, and you can get back on track.
