Most pastors today fight for status more than for the gospel! GH

 

 - * You are not called to share the gospel. You are called to proclaim the gospel. 

Dad raised me a certain way and not everyone will like what he said or his standard by which I now live.

 

 

 - THE GOSPEL SHOULD MAKE US FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE - WHY? We don’t share the gospel, we proclaim the gospel. 

 

 

 -  There are no boundaries of any kind… 

“Go into all the world”.

Anywhere, everywhere at all costs

 

 

LAST WEEK WE SAID GIVING IS THE MEASURING STICK TO ONES HEART….

EVANGELISM IS THE MEASURING STICK TO ONES OBEDIENCE 

 - Giving deals with your heart -it shows how much of our heart he has.

 - Evangelism deals with the accountability we have before God

Your money is the surest sign of where your heart is at. Its a gut check.

Evangelism is the surest sign of where your obedience is at… its a reality check.

 

WE CAN GIVE IN SECRET… WE ARE EVEN TOLD TO DO SO…

But you can’t proclaim the gospel in secret.  

Christ commanded it. We typically refer to the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20

A command gives us a point of accountability
