He spoke from Romans 12:1-2 about how we are to be growing in our relationship with the Lord. We can't just be doing nothing thinking that since God loves them just as they are that they don't need to progress in growing closer to Him. That's heresy. That's a false gospel. We are expected to mature as a believer.
