The Prophet Ezekiel describes a moment in a Heavenly vision when a man with a measuring line takes him to the edge of the river that proceeds out of the throne of God. Once the man begins to measure, he takes Ezekiel out to “ankle deep” waters. However, he does not want Ezekiel to stop there. He continues to measure out 1,000 cubits, and with each measurement, Ezekiel finds himself going DEEPER into the river. God wants YOU to experience the depths of His love, grace, favor, and power. Don’t settle for “ankle deep” Christianity. Keep measuring into the river!
