"The original piece was selected because the piano music is so recognisable and raises an energy within us that propels us forwards to continue with our makeshift lives.

We have selected our own field recordings to add to the soundtrack.

Firstly, we have added the waves from Nice, France, as a continual sound which starts and ends the piece. We have also added additional nature sounds: the wind and voices from London cafés.

Our lives are jigsaws, with multiple aspects.

Our time is crammed full of layers of noise and activity.

We just can’t stop and so we don’t stop."
